The Alpha Gamma Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International would like to invite you, as an Alpha Gamma member or a former inductee, to attend our upcoming celebration of 50 years of being a chapter in Sigma Theta Tau International.

Our Speaker

will be

Suzanne Gordon, noted author on nurses’ roles in advocacy.

Ms. Gordon is an award-

winning journalist and author/editor of 12 books.

Much of her professional focus is on problem-solving the communication issues that

can occur between doctors, nurses and patient . Her latest book “First Do Less
Harm: Confronting the Inconvenient Problems of Patient Safety”

will be one you will

not want to put down. Ms. Gordon is also a co-editor of “

The Culture and Politics of

Health Care

”

During the past 50 years, many challenges have continued to face nurses and
the nursing profession and, as Sigma members, we can collectively continue to work

to resolve such challenges and provide the highest standards of care. Please come and

renew old acquaintances, as well as celebrate a momentous occasion. We know you

will not want to miss this momentous event. If you are a past Alpha Gamma chapter
president, you will be honored on that day so look for a separate email or reply directly to

Sue Malloy at her email below, as she may not have a current address for you. We still

have a need for people to volunteer for various committees, so don’t be shy!

The work of
many hands……
